The short answer
This website sets no cookies at all until you say yes. There is no tracking pixel, no advertising tag, no social widget, no embedded video, no chat popup. If you decline, you leave no trace here beyond your own browser remembering that you declined.
What a cookie is doing here at all
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so it can recognise the browser next time. Most of the web uses them to follow people around. This site uses them for one thing only, and only with permission: counting.
If you press Accept
Google Analytics 4 loads and sets two cookies:
- _ga — tells Google Analytics that this browser has been here before, so two visits are not counted as two people. Expires after 2 years.
- _ga_68C0MJDY28 — keeps the state of your current visit, so moving between pages counts as one session rather than several. Expires after 2 years.
Neither carries your name or your email. They carry a random number.
If you press Decline
Google Analytics is not switched off — it is never fetched. No request leaves your browser towards Google, so not even your IP address is shared. The site behaves exactly the same in every other respect; nothing is withheld, no feature stops working, and you will not be asked again unless you ask to be.
The one thing stored either way
Your answer has to be remembered somewhere, or you would be asked on every page. It is kept in your browser's local storage under the name cc-consent, with the value granted or denied. Local storage is not a cookie: it is never sent to any server, including mine. It stays until you clear your browser data or change your answer.
Storing that one preference does not itself need consent — it exists precisely to honour the choice you made.

Whenever you like, with no consequence either way:
You can also clear cookies for this site in your browser settings — in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge it sits under Privacy. Doing that resets your answer, so you will be asked once more.
When you leave this site
The booking buttons take you to Google Calendar, which is Google's own website with its own cookies and its own policy. Nothing about that is under my control, and it only happens if you click. The same is true of the LinkedIn link in the footer.
